The Ones Who Stayed Foundation banner: support for foster youth, families, and young adults in transition.

Get involved

There are several ways to support the mission.

Whether you want to volunteer, submit employment interest, share your skills, or help build future programs, this is the place to start.

Volunteer opportunities

Volunteer with the foundation

Volunteers help the foundation show up in practical ways. Some roles may be public-facing, while others may support events, resources, donations, or administrative work.

Examples of volunteer areas

  • Community events and outreach
  • Donation drives and resource sorting
  • Foster family support events
  • Thrift/resource center support, when available
  • Administrative or office support
  • Fundraising and community awareness support
  • Special projects based on skills and availability

Youth-facing volunteer roles may require screening, training, approval, and supervision before service begins.
